Good deck, fast shipping

I ordered a 12 Pack deck. It arrived in 4 days. The aluminum construction feels solid. It was exactly what I needed for my setup. No issues with the order process.

Solid board, minor gripes

I bought a complete Kegger longboard. The shipping was free, which was nice, and it got here in about a week. The board itself feels really durable, and I liked that it's made from recycled materials. The wheels and bearings were good quality too, nothing to complain about there. My only small issue was the grip tape application; it had a tiny bubble on one edge. Not a huge deal, but something they could tighten up. Overall, a good purchase for the price.

Great value on a new board

I was looking for a new commuter board and found Beercan Boards. I signed up for their newsletter and got a discount on my first order, which helped a lot. I ended up getting the Hard Cider complete. It wasn't on a holiday sale or anything, but with the sign-up offer, it felt like a really good deal. Shipping took about 6 days to get to me, which was reasonable. The board came fully assembled and ready to ride, which saved me some hassle. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth, especially with the discount applied. It's a solid board, and I appreciate the eco-friendly aspect too.

What's the deal with their military discount? Do you have to verify it or something? Trying to get one of their complete boards.

T Tom 2 months ago
Yeah, they do. I think you gotta email them or use some kind of verification service on their site. It's usually 10-15% off I think.

Pretty sure it's a standard verification, like with ID.me or something. Just follow the steps at checkout or check their FAQ, it'll tell you how.

Does anyone know if they ship to Canada? Been eyeing a few of their decks but haven't seen anything about international shipping on their site.

B Brett Okafor 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure they're US only. I looked into it for a friend in the UK once and it was a no-go.

I don't think so, I asked them on Instagram a while back and they said not currently. Bummer for sure.

Are these boards actually decent compared to like, Loaded or Landyachtz? The recycled aluminum thing is cool but I don't want a flimsy board.

K Kevin 2 months ago
Totally different feel than Loaded's flexy decks, but really solid. Super durable, and the ride is smooth. Not flimsy at all, more like super stiff.

I have both a Landyachtz and a Beercan. They're not really comparable beyond being longboards. Beercan is unique with the aluminum. It's not flimsy, it's just... different. Great for cruising and carving, feels really stable.

Hey, thinking about grabbing an Oat Soda. I'm a heavier dude, like 220lbs. Will this thing hold up or should I be looking at something else?

M Marcus Q. 2 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure they list a weight limit somewhere. I think it's like 300 lbs for the aluminum boards? You should be totally fine.

Can confirm, my buddy is well over 200 and rides his Hard Cider all the time. Those aluminum decks are seriously tough.

How long does it usually take for orders to arrive? I'm in California and want to get a board before a trip next month.

J Josh 3 months ago
Depends on what you get. If it's a complete, they usually assemble it, so maybe a few extra days. I got a deck only and it was here in about a week, east coast to west coast.

Mine took like 5-7 business days to get to SoCal. They ship from Georgia, so it's a cross-country trip.
